Submissions Guidelines

Literature, Culture and Society (LCS) invites papers which contribute towards the progress of literary, cultural, and interdisciplinary studies. The submission of papers to LCS can be made by academics who are interested in the same subjects as the journal.

The submissions are expected to include novel concepts, analytical approaches, and convincing arguments which will be able to contribute towards the literature on literature, culture, and society.

It is essential that the submissions must not have been published in any other journal and they must not be under consideration of any other journal during their consideration for LCS.

Each paper must demonstrate academic novelty, methodological robustness, if any, and adhere to ethical research practices.

Papers should be written in good academic English and should have a sound logical structure based on scholarly literature and references. LCS considers a variety of scholarly papers that promote interdisciplinary approach to literary and cultural studies.

Submission Requirements

Prior to the submission of a manuscript, it is expected that:

  • The submitted manuscript lies within the scope of the journal.
  • It is an original, unpublished manuscript.
  • The research objectives and arguments have been stated clearly.
  • The references have been made accurately and completely.
  • All necessary permissions have been acquired (wherever needed).
  • All named authors have agreed on the final manuscript.
  • The manuscript conforms to the journal’s format.
