Publication Ethics

The primary goal of Literature, Culture and Society is to maintain high standards of publication ethics and integrity. According to the publication policy, all persons involved in the process of publishing should comply with ethical standards of honesty, openness, and responsibility.

Publication ethics are important for maintaining the integrity, validity, and importance of scientific research. In order to satisfy these criteria, authors have to provide original research and properly acknowledge the contribution of other scientists to their research.

All types of plagiarism, data manipulation, data fabrication, multiple submission, and improper authorship are regarded as unethical behavior and may lead to the refusal or withdrawal of the manuscript from the journal. Also, authors should report all potential conflicts of interest or funding sources which might affect the results of their research.

Authors should:

• Submit original and unpublished work.
• Reference all the scholarly resources properly.
• Prevent any form of plagiarism or duplication of publication.
• Declare any conflicts of interest when necessary.
• Make sure authorship reflects contributions.
• Work with the editor during review and revision.
• Let the journal know about any mistakes found after publication.

It is expected from reviewers to be objective, confidential, and constructive. At the same time, the editor makes publication decisions that are based exclusively on scientific value, originality, methodology, and pertinence to the journal. Corrections, retractions, or editorial statements will be published when required in order to maintain integrity of the scientific record.
