Author Guidelines
LCS requires contributors to produce manuscripts that show originality, rigorous scholarship, critical analyses, and ethical research. The manuscripts should have some contributions to the study of literature, culture and society while still being coherent and consistent with academic writing.
The authors are advised to check the aims, scope, and submission guidelines of the journal prior to producing their manuscripts to make sure that their manuscripts meet the journal's objectives. Provided the manuscript has been written in the correct format, it will be able to offer a research question or problem, theoretical and/or methodological framework, critical analysis together with the scholarly literature, and contribution to academic debate.
Accuracy of all sources cited must be ensured using the appropriate format of the chosen citation style of the journal.

Manuscript Preparation Checklist
Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that:
- The manuscript falls within the journal's aims and scope.
- The work is original and has not been published elsewhere.
- All sources are accurately cited and referenced.
- The manuscript follows the journal's formatting requirements.
- Tables, figures, and illustrations are properly labelled and referenced.
- All authors have reviewed and approved the final manuscript.
- Any funding sources or conflicts of interest have been disclosed.
Author Responsibilities
Authors are expected to:
- Submit original and unpublished scholarly work.
- Follow the journal's formatting and submission requirements.
- Respond constructively to reviewer and editor comments.
- Cooperate throughout the editorial and publication process.
- Notify the editorial office of any significant errors identified after publication.
- Uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical research practices.
